Renaming and rebranding

zerothird

A Nobel Prize-rooted quantum startup, reborn as zerothird—we created the new name, crafted the brand story, and developed a design system to work fluidly across touchpoints.

Name

Here’s a company about secure communication. Military, governmental, bank-grade secure. So—a bit more than secure: certain. That kind of certainty comes from quantum-entanglement cryptography: keys aren’t sent, they’re born at both ends. No transmission, no middleman, no risk. Or—to simply name it: one sender, one receiver, zero third.

Logo

A visual expression of engineered certainty. The zerothird logo is bold, minimal, and rooted in scientific logic. Its defining slash recalls quantum notation and signals control, clarity, and authority. As a Ruler brand, zerothird embodies trust. Even in short form, the logo becomes a distilled mark of structure and command. Like a fraction. Like a principle.

Elements

Beyond the logo, the design system balances scientific precision with visual depth. A fingerprint-inspired texture in our signature blue adds tactility—structured, linear, and still unmistakably human.

Structure

Three brand colors plus network patterns form the visual core. Used as dividers, backgrounds, or quiet signals of complexity, they’re designed to guide, not distract. The result: a brand that feels modern, ordered, uncompromising.

Syntax

The design system relies on modular grids, calibrated spacing, and type hierarchies optimized for clarity and scale. It’s built for consistency across interfaces, environments, and formats.

Essence

Scientific rigor, brought to life as a brand. We’re proud to have made quantum a little more tangible.
